I want to first express our appreciation of their benefits.
My garden loves them.
The farmers love them for
their crops.
I appreciate eating crops
grown with a minimal use of pesticides.
That is where their usefulness ends.
They do have a dark side. During the winter months, they go inside the walls of many houses. On warmer days, they come out. Many come out of the walls into the rooms in the house, especially if you have the heat turned up. Some houses have a few lady bugs, yet others have an incredible amount. In my own dining room and kitchen, it would not be uncommon for my wife and I to see about 100 EACH DAY.
This web site is under construction and will provide information to help you control this problem. This plague of these bugs was brought to you by our own Federal Department of Agriculture. We want to make them aware that this is a serious problem for many people and that it is not just a simple “inconvenience” as they describe it.
We will provide information from pest control
specialists.
We will post names, addresses and email address
of government agencies that you can contact with complaints of your own.
We will provide an area to post your own comments
and thoughts.
There will be a photo gallery to show the extent
of this problem.
